Vogue Fashion Night Out 2013
Hello my friends, hope everybody's feeling great and not feeling miserable 'cause of the weather. Today I want to share with you my very first experience with Vogue Fashion Night Out in Manchester, I know this post is super late as you can see on the photo above haha, but as promised will share everything about it, better late than never right?
It was the first time that the VFNO was held outside London, and we people living in the north are so lucky to experienced it, such an honor to be part of the great annual fashion event in the country.
VFNO is a worldwide fashion event that is happening in different cities worldwide but on a different dates. Its a one day celebration of all things fashionable wherein each participating shops are offering amazing discounts, free champagne, cocktails and canapés, goody bags, and exciting competitions, it was absolutely mental but I loved every single minute of it. To be honest because there's so many things going on, its so impossible to visit them all, so me and my lady friend decided that we are staying and joining the chaos and party at Selfridges, we were right, Selfridges was a lot of fun compared to the other places that we've been. I'm glad we made the right decision. So proud of our selves!!
Selfridges was buzzing, great to see many fashionistas came out to celebrate the event. We enjoyed the bottomless champagne and cocktails from the bar, without feeling tipsy LOL! We were still standing eventually and managed to browse lots and lots of clothes from well known fashion designers. There were lots of great canapés too, cakes, ice cream and candy floss were all delicious.
Some well known celebrities were there DJing like Model/presenter Jameela Jamil (scroll down to see our photo with her) and singer Eliza Doolittle, gutted I didn't have a photo with Eliza but was nice to see her in person, very pretty girl. We also met the award winning designer Erdem Moralioglu ( see photos below), saw Christopher Kane, Jonathan Saunders, and model Daisy Lowe hanging out in a group during the event. We missed Matthew Williamson, Henry Holland, Roksanda Ilincic, and vogue editor Alexandra Schulman 'cause they were in different place. We were so star strucked seeing these designers in person, can't believed it was really happening, I'm so made up, such a dream come true meeting all these great people. Just shows you that nothing is impossible, everything is possible if there's a will there's always way. :)
Overall it was an amazing night, an experience that I'll never forget, I highly recommend this event to all fashionistas and fashion minded people, its worth the experience that you will never regret. Hopefully next year, they'll do it again in Manchester fingers crossed. Many thanks Vogue, See you next year. xx
