Dark Days

Today I show you a look that I wore to a funeral (sorry if I scared you guys I just couldn't handle it!! <3). Last week I went to the funeral of a dear neighbour who died of brain cancer. He was 80 years old. He was a good neighbour, very positive man, always had a smile on his face and knew how to cheer people up, he will  be sadly missed by many people for sure including me. Glad I went to the funeral, it really made me realized that tomorrow isn't promised and today is short so never take anyone or anything for granted. Always make time for your family and friends, don't get so busy that you forget to laugh and have fun with them. Treasure every moment and take time to ensure that the story you create is the one that you will be proud of and look back on with a huge smile.

Hope you like my look and many thanks for the visits and comments. I wish you all a great start of the week. xx

What I Wore:

1.) Blazer- Topshop
2.) Dress- H&M
3.) Shoes - Clarks
4.) Sunglasses- Gucci

  1. I have mostly similar thoughts when I'm attending a funeral and I agree absolutely. Thanks for sharing this other kind of post and I must say you look also great in black, although I'm normally not a huge fan of complete black in black looks. But here in Bavaria it is also usual to wear black on a funeral and I do it like this habit. Maybe this is one of the causes why I don't like black?

  19. Hi Michelle, Thanks for your great insight, did you get any metallic pieces yet? The trend hasn't reached SA as yet. I was particularly fond of the dresses at the Cruise show but most exciting was to see what the socialites and celebs wore for their front row appearances. I am actually not the biggest Chanel fan, I like the bags but the clothes are not that much my style...Happy weekend hun!

I agree with every bit of this text you wrote. Nothing is granted and we should take advantage of every moment of every day.
