I think this is a good list for everyone to use to better themselves... I would add one thing... be yourself and don't copy other people, being unique is a gift :)
Have a great weekend, no major plans for me, we had a party for my youngest daughters birthday... :)
I love this list Michelle, these are truly simple ideas that every one of us can achieve easily. I think being able to smile is really effective, I have know the most attractive people who appeared austere and unapproachable because they didn't know how to smile. Having manners also makes one appear kinder and nicer to others. Dressing thoughtfully is far better than dressing like you are part of Miley Cyrus's entourage just for attention. Love the idea of having hobbies that don't require technology, and of course, family is most important. We here in SA are 2 seasons behind the Northern Hemisphere so we only get the trends you have now 4-6 months later. I have to say I love girly dresses and I can't live without blazers, I have a cupboard full lol. I am currently inclined to Saint Laurent, quite edgy but elegant, I also love Dries van Noten, Jenny Packham and Miu Miu, which are all so different from each other. Hope you're having a wonderful weekend, thanks for your kind comment darling!
Ah, dear Michelle, yes, those 9 steps are simply true! I like it that you have so thoughtful posts and especially here that one should have at least 3 hobbies without a screen :) Fortunately I was able to find at least 3 ;) And this post confirms me again that you are wise and have a lot of life experience which I really appreciate <3
Hi Michelle, thats such an interesting statement and I think its definitely true, so many designers are picking specific muses to design for, like Dior with Jen Lawrence and Marion Cotillard, Miu Miu with Lea Seydoux and Chanel for the likes of Blake and the Fanning sisters. But then they all have the perfect figures so it would be easy for them to wear these types of clothes anyway. I also like the high street brands, but we only have Zara and Topshop here. It was great hearing your thoughts, have a splendid week ahead!
I loooved this post! I agree with everything you wrote and posted here! #3 I should send to a friend, but alas, she can do whatever she wants. I just don't want to go out with her when she dresses in a way that embarrasses me, but as I said, I may embarrass her too. But she is a great friend, that's what matters. I was away for some weeks during a hectic but nice time, and now I'm back for good :) denisesplanet.com
what a great list!:) the third point is so true!

I couldn't agree more. As it's often said, a girl's best makeup is her smile. But honestly this applies to everyone - boy or girl.
ReplyDeleteThis list could not have been better!
