Three weeks ago I was at Manchester Pride or LGBT Pride which is a celebration of who we are. Pride allow us to take a stand against discrimination and violence towards lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender people and to promote self affirmation, dignity, equality rights, increased visibility, build community while we celebrate sexual diversity and gender variance. In short it's a celebration for people who's voices are silenced by society to speak up and be heard. I had a blast at the event, such a great atmosphere and overall experience.
