London Fashion Week SS16: Street Style Chronicles #4

Don't be afraid Gerald. Remember that you've got on your side the most wonderful thing in the world- youth! There is nothing like youth. The middle-aged are mortgaged to life. The old are in life's lumber-room. But youth is the Lord of Life. Youth has a kingdom waiting for it. Every one is born a king, and most people die in exile, like most kings. To win back my youth Gerald, there is nothing I wouldn't do except take exercise, get up early or be a useful member of the community. - Lord Illingworth from "A Woman Of No Importance" by Oscar Wilde

If you didn't know I love Oscar Wilde and have quite a collection of his quotations.. I love that his sarcasm always has a touch of wisdom to it. He's someone who I would have liked to have had a cup of coffee with and shared our views on life. I'm currently taking inspiration from this quote and trying to find joy or laughter in everything.

Do you like Oscar Wilde's books and quotes? Who's your favorite author/writer?

I leave you with another random street style shots from Brewer Street London shot by me.. Her outfit and swag was just so on point af! That's why I noticed her :)

PS: I was unfortunately unable to find out the name of this model, if anyone knows then please let me know so I can credit her. Thanks. #PhotographerProblems :)

London Fashion Week SS16: Street Style Chronicles #2

I love seeing the diversity of people and styles at LFW, you can be whoever and whatever you want to be, people in London aren't afraid to dress up and wear what they want. I always feel inspired when I'm in London, nothing like a change of scenery to help you feel more creative.

So I managed to snapped a few more people between shows, and here's another favorite of mine :)

Have you been to London? What do you think about this city?

London Fashion Week SS16: Street Style Chronicles #1

So apparently I'm a street style photographer now LOL! During my time at LFW I decided to put more effort in capturing the styles I love around the venue (by the way I'm not impressed with Brewer Street Car Park as the new venue at all). Personally for me it's more fun to be outside and be part of the madness than attending shows. So here's my attempt at taking street style photo to a whole new level.. when candid shots become a photoshoot material, why not? Gotta love fighting over the same spot with other street style photographers just to get the best shot Haha! Should I keep trying to be a photographer? What do you think of my street style shooting skills? :D

Stay tuned for more street style, runway photos etc. from London. :)

Night Changes

People are like stained glass windows. They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within. Disregard the poor quality of these photos, I took these photos after I finished shopping at night, I spent too much time in the shopping centre and literally forgot to take outfit photos during the day. Today's outfit of the day pretty much embodies the month of February rainy, cold and dark, the only good thing about this month is the Fashion Week. I didn't go to London Fashion Week this season but I was there last season, it was full of fun, inspirations and fashionable alien vibes LOL! Hope to attend again next season when the weather is a bit warmer and brighter. Now I'm catching up on designers I missed this week on the livestream. Have a great start of the week friends! :)

Are you excited for the start of Milan Fashion Week? What shows are you most looking forward to?

What I Wore:

1.) Blue Rain Jacket- Helly Hansen
2.) Suede Jacket- Rich Birds
3.) Plaid Dress- Next
4.) Boots- Clarks
5.) Bag- Estee Lauder
