DIY Project
I always love experimenting with old clothes customizing and make them look beautiful again. I'm no fashion designer or sewing expert I just find enjoyment and pleasure in doing these things, such a great way to kill time if you're feeling bored and it also enhances one's creativity. I was doing a little DIY over the weekend and this is what I came up with a DIY lace and print dress, wish I can devote more time in doing DIY's but work has to come first. Anyone out there into customizing clothes? Have a fantastic start of the week friends!! xoxo
What I Wore:
1.) DIY dress made from old grey lace dress and printed sarong.
2.) Thrifted belt.

Anaconda
Oh, dear oh dear when is this rainy weather gonna stop, its been miserable all week, rain and severe gales with damaging gusts hit the country last week and because of that I had to cancel my plan of going to London for the fashion week, so sad 'cause I had a couple of invites for the weekend shows but couldn't make it, not risking travelling especially if there's a weather advisory to avoid travelling if possible, its better to be safe than sorry, anyway there's always next time hopefully I'll get an invite again. So how is the weather where you are? Hope you all had a great weekend.
For today's look just want to show you how I wore the skirt that I got from River Island and a snake skin print bodice for a cool twist. The grounds outside are still wet and muddy so just took some indoor shots using a tripod, not too blessed to have a good photographer to take my outfit shots so just have to settle with what I got haha, well a tripod is good enough it does the job, and that's all it matters. Good vibes to everyone and let's all have a productive week. xoxo
What I Wore:

2.) Snake skin print bodice from Morgan- don't worry its not a real snake skin, its fake.
3.) Skirt from River Island- got this on the sale for £5.
4.) Boots from Wallis
5.) Bracelet- DIY made from a christmas tree decoration
6.) Necklace from Peacocks- sale for £1.50

New York State Of Mind
Finally an outfit post yayy!! It has been a few weeks since I had any outfit post on the blog I kinda miss it so from now will stick to my new year's resolution to do more outfit post, less procrastinating and more action haha.
Today's outfit all came from the thrift shop except for my jeans, boots and sunglasses. One man's trash is another man's treasure love that lyric from the song Thrift Shop by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, this song just constantly playing on my head and its fucking awesome!! LOL! Thrift shopping is so much fun and you just never know what you're going to find and I like the idea of recycling old clothes and giving them another life. People perceive things differently, you may think an item is a trash while another person may spend thousands to find the thing that you want to get rid off. So think carefully before throwing your stuff. Bring out the artist in you, be creative, experiment and do something different. I’m sure you will find some use with your unwanted items. Enjoy recycling your old stuff and hope you like my thrifted look shot by me using a tripod and a self timer :))
WHAT I WORE:
1.) New York top thrifted from Oxfam Charity Shop
2.) Turtleneck jumper thrifted from Oxfam Charity Shop
3.) Skinny jeans from Miss Selfridge (folded for a cropped jeans look)
4.) Ankle boots and sunglasses from Marks and spencer (the sunglasses was on sale for £3)
5.) Snake head necklace ( actually its a belt wore as a necklace, what you think? bought it from a dog charity shop for £1)
6.) DIY belt - I used my old scarf as a belt and I just attached a silver pearl decoration from my christmas tree last year, get what I mean about recycling?
7.) Beret thrifted- £1.
